Mean across ad accounts with enough activity that month (at least 50 clicks or 5,000 impressions). Months with fewer than five active accounts are left out. Meta clicks are link clicks. Source: HelloConversions, Meta Marketing API and Google Ads API, Jan 2025 – Sep 2026.

Inside the full report

Every metric, three numbers and the spread behind them

Averages alone mislead when a few big accounts sit at the far end. So every benchmark in the full report comes with:

  • The average across businesses
  • The modal band, where most businesses land
  • The median
  • A histogram of the full spread
  • 2025 vs. 2026, year over year

Part one

Inside the GHL account

Cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, ad spend and average order value, measured from GoHighLevel contacts and payments.

Part two

Facebook & Google

Spend, CPM, CPC and CTR per ad account, pulled from the Meta and Google Ads APIs rather than a survey.

Part three

Ads Manager vs. the CRM

The same Meta spend divided by Meta's lead count and by the leads that actually reached GoHighLevel, business by business.

Part four

Email

Click-through rate across every campaign GoHighLevel sent, so you can see where your list sits.

How the benchmarks are built

Sources
GoHighLevel contacts, payments and email campaigns, plus the Meta Marketing API and Google Ads API, synced into HelloConversions. 2025 compared with 2026 (January 2025 to September 2026).
Revenue
Live payments that succeeded or were partially refunded, net of refunds, in USD. We only see payments processed through GoHighLevel and linked to HelloConversions. Payments taken through third-party processors or checkouts outside GHL are not counted.
Leads
New contacts, excluding bulk imports: any day where a business added at least 500 contacts and ten times its usual daily volume.
Minimums
A business-year counts toward a metric only with enough volume to mean something, such as $1,000 in spend, 10,000 impressions or 100 clicks. Years with too few businesses are left blank.

Questions

Is the benchmark report free?

Yes. Fill in the short form and the full report opens straight away. There is no payment, no credit card and no email confirmation to wait for.

Where does the data come from?

From GoHighLevel accounts connected to HelloConversions: their contacts, payments and email campaigns, plus the Meta and Google Ads accounts linked to them. It compares 2025 with 2026, year over year (January 2025 to September 2026).

Which businesses are included?

GoHighLevel businesses that advertise, from coaching and info products to medical and wellness clinics and local service companies. We don't publish names or how many there are, so every chart shows the share of businesses rather than counts.

Why is the CRM cost per lead lower than Ads Manager's?

Meta can only count the leads its pixel sees. iOS privacy settings, blocked cookies and in-app browsers all hide real leads from it. The CRM counts every contact whose first touch came from Meta, so for most businesses it finds more leads for the same spend.

Do I need HelloConversions to use the benchmarks?

No. Pull your own cost per lead, CAC and CPC from GoHighLevel and Ads Manager and compare them with the report. HelloConversions is how you get the CRM-verified numbers for your own account.
