Facts about Meta ads MCP server as of October 2026. Google Ads and TikTok rows are left out: Meta's server covers neither, and HelloConversions sends to both. What each row measures
AI assistant access
Whether an AI assistant can query your own account data in the product, through a documented connection such as an MCP server or a built-in assistant. Access to the vendor's documentation only is not access to your data.
Revenue against ad spend
Whether the product reports collected revenue next to ad spend from its own data, and at which level: the account total, campaign, ad (ad set and ad) or creative.
GoHighLevel connection
How the product receives data from GoHighLevel (contacts, opportunities, payments): a documented native integration (app or OAuth), webhooks sent from GHL workflows, or a tracking script on pages only. Writing data into GHL is not receiving it.
Sends GHL stage changes
Whether a chosen GoHighLevel opportunity stage change (for example Booked or Qualified) can be sent to an ad platform as a conversion, and what has to be built per stage.
Reads GHL payments
Whether payments recorded in GoHighLevel (orders, invoices, transactions) reach the product as revenue, so a deposit and a later balance are both counted.
Meta Conversions API
Whether the product sends conversions to Meta server-side through the Conversions API, and on which plan.
Lowest published paid plan
The monthly price of the cheapest published paid plan that a GoHighLevel lead-gen or service business would buy, on the check date, with its billing term. When the vendor has separate ladders (ecom and lead gen, say), it is the lead-gen ladder. Free plans are covered by the trial row.
What the bill scales with
The usage measure the vendor's published pricing grows with, such as CRM contacts, tracked revenue, sessions, pageviews, visitors, events or ad spend.

One GHL sale, and where Meta's MCP server comes in

Meta's server sits outside a GHL sale, so its column shows what an AI could look up or change in Meta afterward. The sale here is $1,000: an opt-in, a booked call, Qualified, then $300 down, $700 later and $100 refunded.
  1. The lead comes in through your GHL funnel

With HelloConversionsThe GHL form submission is captured and can go to Meta as a lead event. Hashed email, phone and name from the GHL contact go with it.

With Meta MCPNothing runs in Meta's server at this point. Later, an AI can pull the ad's spend, CTR and the conversions Meta recorded for it.

  2. A call lands on the GHL calendar

With HelloConversionsBooked goes out as each opportunity lands in it, provided it's one of your stages. There's no GHL workflow or webhook to build.

With Meta MCPThe move to Booked stays in GHL. Afterward, its dataset tools can show Meta's event volume for up to 28 days, split by event source.

  3. The rep moves the deal to Qualified

With HelloConversionsQualified, if it's on your list, is sent when the deal moves, for example as a qualified_lead event in Meta.

With Meta MCPIts pixel event tools add or switch rules on your website pixel. None of them sends a GHL stage, so Qualified reaches Meta only through another sender.

  4. The buyer pays $300 down

With HelloConversionsHelloConversions captures the GHL payment for revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

With Meta MCPMeta's server reads no GHL payments. Its reports include the deposit only if some sender already passed a purchase to Meta.

  5. The $700 balance is collected

With HelloConversionsThe second payment and the invoice's paid event land in revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

With Meta MCPIn the same chat, HighLevel's own MCP server could list the GHL transaction beside Meta's spend figures. The AI redoes that match each time you ask.

  6. $100 goes back to the buyer

With HelloConversionsThe refund on the GHL invoice is captured for revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a partial refund is valued there isn't documented.

With Meta MCPNo tool reads a GHL refund or sends one to Meta. Meta's ROAS for that ad reflects only what Meta was told.

  7. You review the week's Meta ads

With HelloConversionsHelloConversions doesn't touch the ads. Its dashboards set total GHL sales against Meta and Google spend, with MER and cost per lead.

With Meta MCPAsk for spend, CTR, CPM and conversions by campaign, ad set or ad, with anomaly flags. The assistant can then edit a campaign, ad set or ad for you.

What each one reads, sends and changes

  1. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Events into Meta, not just reports out of it

Meta's signals and datasets tools read a dataset's setup, event volume and Event Match Quality, and they edit pixel event rules. None of the 13 sends an event. HelloConversions sends the stages you pick and purchase events from GHL to Meta's Conversions API, server to server, with hashed contact details. Meta's server adds no events of its own, so Meta works from what your pixel and any other sender report.

  2. Where HelloConversions is ahead

GHL revenue beside spend, or Meta's own count by ad

Meta's reporting tools return spend, impressions, CTR, CPC, CPM and conversions for campaigns, ad sets and ads, and track ROAS over time. Every figure comes from Meta's data, so a sale Meta never received isn't counted. HelloConversions' revenue dashboards set total sales from GHL next to Meta and Google spend, with MER and cost per lead. They report the account total, not each ad.

  3. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Beyond Meta: Google Ads and TikTok from GHL

Meta's server is for Meta ads alone, and none of its seven tool groups covers Google Ads or TikTok. HelloConversions sends the same GHL stages to Google Ads as offline conversions, matched by GCLID and backed by enhanced conversions. It also sends them to TikTok's Events API.

  4. AI on both sides, reading different data

Both connect to an AI assistant, so AI access isn't what sets them apart. Meta's server gives the assistant Meta ad data. HelloConversions' MCP connector gives it your HelloConversions data, where GHL revenue already sits next to ad spend. HighLevel's own MCP server can search opportunities and list transactions, and a client can run it beside Meta's. The join then happens in each chat, and reading data sends nothing to Meta.

  5. Where Meta MCP is ahead

Building and editing Meta ads from a chat

Running the campaigns themselves is Meta's side of the job. Through its server, an assistant can create campaigns, ad sets, ads and creatives, boost an Instagram post and manage custom audiences. New entities start paused, and your AI client asks before activating them. HelloConversions doesn't create or edit ads. For anyone who builds and edits Meta campaigns from a chat, Meta's server is the tool for that job.

A fair look

Meta's ads MCP server: seven tool groups, all inside Meta

Meta's ads MCP server is a Meta-hosted server, at mcp.facebook.com/ads, that lets an AI agent manage Meta ads. Meta announced it with its other ads AI connectors in open beta on April 29, 2026. Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Perplexity connect with no Meta app of your own. Other MCP clients connect through a Meta developer app.

Meta lists seven tool groups: reporting, ad creation and management, catalogs, signals and datasets, help and troubleshooting, A/B tests and lift studies, and activity logs. Write tools create campaigns, ad sets and ads in a paused state, and your AI client asks before activating them. Reports go down to the ad, with anomaly flags and industry benchmarks.

Every group reads or changes something inside Meta: ad accounts, catalogs, datasets, tests and logs. None reads GoHighLevel or another CRM, and the signals tools check datasets rather than send events. It fits anyone who plans, launches and reviews Meta campaigns through an assistant. Meta's Conversions API Gateway, a separate tracking product, has its own comparison page.

Meta's help article warns that you may not have every tool and feature yet. Its developer post says tools reached through your own Meta app are rolling out gradually. Servers from other companies use similar names. This page covers only Meta's own server.

No published price from Meta, contact bands from HelloConversions

As of October 22, 2026, Meta publishes no price for its ads MCP server. Its April 29 announcement calls the ads AI connectors an open beta, and its get-started guide lists no fee. Pricing and access can change during a beta, so check Meta's docs before you plan around it.

On the HelloConversions side, one number sets the bill: the contacts in your GHL account. Sending more events or raising ad spend leaves it where it is. The card below shows the smallest band. Published bands go up to 80,000 contacts, and above 100,000 the price is quoted.

The two do different jobs, so this isn't a choice between two bills. A GHL seller who runs ads through Meta's server can add HelloConversions for the conversions and revenue side.

How to run both on one GHL account

  1. Leave your AI setup as it is

Your AI client and its link to Meta's server stay untouched. In HelloConversions, authorize the GHL account, then mark which pipeline stages are conversions. It takes about 90 seconds to connect. Mapping and testing those stages takes longer.

  2. Find out who already sends each Meta event

Your pixel, GHL's own Conversions API workflow or another tool may already send leads or purchases. Pick one sender for each Meta event, so a sale isn't counted twice. Stages your pixel never sees, such as Qualified, make a clean first send.

  3. Check one deal from both ends

Move a test opportunity through Booked and Qualified. Find each event in the HelloConversions per-event delivery log with the platform's response status. Then ask your AI client, through Meta's server, for the dataset's event volume by source.

  4. Let the assistant read the results

Meta's reporting tools show conversions as Meta counts them for each ad. A Matched entry in the HelloConversions log means Meta accepted the event. It isn't proof Meta credited a sale, so the event may not show up by ad. For GHL revenue in the same chat, add HelloConversions' MCP connector or HighLevel's own server. Keep building and editing ads through Meta's server.

Frequently asked questions

Is every Meta Ads MCP server made by Meta?

No. Meta's own server is the one Meta hosts at mcp.facebook.com/ads, the address its docs and help article give. Other companies publish servers with similar names. This page and its table cover only Meta's.

Can Meta's ads MCP server send GoHighLevel stages or sales to Meta?

No. Its signals tools read dataset setup, event volume and Event Match Quality, and edit pixel event rules, but none sends an event. Its audience tools can upload a hashed customer list, which is for targeting, not conversions. HelloConversions sends GHL form leads, the stages you choose and purchase events to Meta's Conversions API.

Can one AI chat see GHL revenue and Meta ad spend together?

Yes, with a second connection. HighLevel's own MCP server has tools to search opportunities and list transactions, and a client can connect it beside Meta's. HelloConversions' MCP connector is another route, since its data already holds GHL revenue next to Meta and Google spend. Reading both in a chat doesn't send any conversion to Meta.

Does Meta charge for its ads MCP server?

Meta doesn't publish a price. As of October 22, 2026, its announcement and developer docs give none, and the connectors launched in open beta on April 29, 2026. HelloConversions publishes its prices by GHL contact band.

What does a GHL agency need to connect client ad accounts?

It depends on the route. Through a supported agent, such as Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Perplexity, Meta's help article lists no app review. Connecting through your agency's own Meta app is different. Meta's developer post says you need to submit that app for review and request Advanced Access on ads_mcp_management.

What does HelloConversions add to an AI-run Meta account?

The GHL side. It sends form leads, the stages you choose and purchase events from GHL to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. Each event is logged with the platform's response. Its reports put GHL revenue next to your ad spend. Meta's server keeps doing the ad work.
