Facts about Stape as of October 2026. Stape's lowest published paid plan is its Meta CAPI Gateway, priced per pixel. Server GTM and Signals Gateway also have free plans, listed under cost. Sources are listed at the end of this page. HelloConversions cells describe our own product.

What each row measures
What the bill scales with
The usage measure the vendor's published pricing grows with, such as CRM contacts, tracked revenue, sessions, pageviews, visitors, events or ad spend.
Lowest published paid plan
The monthly price of the cheapest published paid plan that a GoHighLevel lead-gen or service business would buy, on the check date, with its billing term. When the vendor has separate ladders (ecom and lead gen, say), it is the lead-gen ladder. Free plans are covered by the trial row.
Free trial or free plan
Whether someone can try the product without paying: a time-limited free trial or a permanent free plan, as published. Performance offers, refund terms and paid pilots are not trials.
GoHighLevel connection
How the product receives data from GoHighLevel (contacts, opportunities, payments): a documented native integration (app or OAuth), webhooks sent from GHL workflows, or a tracking script on pages only. Writing data into GHL is not receiving it.
Sends GHL stage changes
Whether a chosen GoHighLevel opportunity stage change (for example Booked or Qualified) can be sent to an ad platform as a conversion, and what has to be built per stage.
Reads GHL payments
Whether payments recorded in GoHighLevel (orders, invoices, transactions) reach the product as revenue, so a deposit and a later balance are both counted.
Meta Conversions API
Whether the product sends conversions to Meta server-side through the Conversions API, and on which plan.
Google Ads offline conversions
Whether CRM conversions are sent to Google Ads as offline click conversions or enhanced conversions for leads.
TikTok Events API
Whether conversions are sent to TikTok server-side, whether the vendor calls it the Events API or server events to the TikTok pixel. Browser-only pixel events do not count.
Per-event delivery log
Whether you can inspect each event the product sent to an ad platform: the payload, the destination and the platform's response or error (an outbound log). A log of the events the product received is an inbound log and answers a different question.

One GHL sale, step by step, in Stape and HelloConversions

A lead opts in, books a call and gets qualified. Then they pay a $300 deposit and a $700 balance, and later get $100 back. The two columns stick to what each vendor documents.
  1. A new lead lands in GHL

With HelloConversionsShould the new opportunity start in a stage you picked, it goes out as a conversion. The contact's email, phone, name, city and state go with it, hashed.

With StapeThe app reacts when an opportunity changes stage. If the opt-in opens one in a mapped stage, that event goes to your Meta gateway or server GTM container. The GHL fields you mapped go with it.

  2. They book a call

With HelloConversionsThe move to your Booked stage is sent when it happens, if you picked that stage. You don't build a GHL workflow for it.

With StapeMoving the opportunity to Booked sends the event name you typed for that stage. With Send all stages ticked, the event takes the stage name, or the pipeline and stage name on the Meta gateway.

  3. A rep marks them qualified

With HelloConversionsYour Qualified stage can reach Meta, Google Ads and TikTok, for instance as qualified_lead in Meta.

With StapeThe same stage trigger. Stape documents Google Ads and TikTok through a tag you set up for each in your server GTM container.

  4. They pay a $300 deposit

With HelloConversionsGHL records the deposit as a payment, and HelloConversions captures it for revenue reporting. Each ad platform can get mapped purchase events, but how a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

With StapeStape's guide lists no payment, invoice or order trigger. Its event setup maps stages and user data, with no value field.

  5. They pay the $700 balance

With HelloConversionsThe $700 payment and its paid invoice land in revenue reporting as well. How a balance after a deposit is valued at Meta, Google Ads or TikTok isn't documented.

With StapeAs with the deposit, the guide documents no payment trigger, so there is no documented value to send.

  6. You refund $100

With HelloConversionsGHL's refund shows up in revenue reporting through the refunded invoice event. What a $100 partial refund does to events already at the ad platforms isn't documented.

With StapeThe guide lists no refund trigger either.

Stape's HighLevel app vs HelloConversions, point by point

  1. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Deposits and balances in your revenue reports

Stape's FAQ says its HighLevel app reacts to opportunity stage changes. Its guide lists no payment, invoice or order trigger, and no value field. HelloConversions captures GHL purchases, payments, subscriptions and invoice events, including paid and refunded, for revenue reporting. Those reports put your GHL revenue next to your Meta and Google ad spend.

  2. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Google Ads and TikTok without a container to build

Stape documents Google Ads offline conversions and TikTok events as server GTM tags. For Google Ads, it now recommends its Data Manager API tag over the older offline conversion tag. You route the app's events to a container hosted on Stape, then set up each tag there. HelloConversions sends from GHL to Meta's Conversions API, to Google Ads as offline conversions with enhanced conversions, and to TikTok's Events API.

  3. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Seeing what was sent, and what came back

Stape's logs are a server GTM feature on Pro plans and up. Outgoing requests show only after you switch them on. On the Meta gateway route, the app's guide points you to Meta's Events Manager. It notes the screen may take up to 30 minutes to show recent events. Each send in the HelloConversions event log carries its destination, event type, parameters and the platform's reply status. In that log, "Matched" only confirms the platform took the event. It doesn't show that Meta tied it to a person.

  4. Customer details on each event

In Stape's app, you choose each user data parameter and the GHL field behind it, plus an optional Meta Lead ID field. Its guide doesn't say which fields are hashed. HelloConversions takes email, phone, first name, last name, city and state from the GHL contact. It hashes them with SHA-256 and sends them with every event.

  5. Where Stape is ahead

A free or flat-priced route, if Meta is all you need

If you only send a few GHL stages to Meta, Stape is ahead on price. The app is free, and Stape's Signals Gateway has a free plan for up to 10,000 events a month. Its Meta CAPI Gateway is $10 a month per pixel, or $8 billed annually, for up to 10 million events. Neither price grows with your contact count, while HelloConversions' price rises with your GHL contact band.

A fair look

What Stape's app is built for, and who picks it

Stape is a hosting company for server-side tagging. Its free HighLevel app watches your opportunities and turns a stage change into a conversion event. You map each stage to an event name, or send every stage and list the ones to skip.

The app needs a Stape service to send through: a Meta CAPI Gateway, a Signals Gateway or a server GTM container. Stape's guide calls the Meta gateway the simplest route, limited to Meta. Signals Gateway leaves room for a few other platforms, and server GTM gives the most control but takes more setup and upkeep.

A server GTM container can pass the same GHL events to any platform with a server-side tag. The app can also sync opportunities into Google Ads Customer Match lists and Meta Custom Audiences. That suits an agency with a tracking developer, or an account that only needs stages in Meta.

Stape's guide has you pick the GHL sub-account to install the app on. If you're still weighing other routes, the comparison hub puts every tool we've profiled in one table.

Stape pricing: free routes, gateway plans and add-ons

Stape's HighLevel app is free, and so is one of its routes to Meta. As of October 22, 2026, Signals Gateway is free up to 10,000 events a month, with no credit card. The Meta CAPI Gateway's Pay as you go plan is $10 a month per pixel, or $8 billed annually. Both gateway plans show a 7-day free trial.

Stape documents Google Ads and TikTok through a server GTM container, and one container can carry both. Server GTM is free up to 10,000 requests a month. Its logs start on the $20 Pro plan, with 3 days of history. Stape Care quotes setup from $1,100, and its plans of $99 to $199 a month sit on top of hosting.

Unlike Stape's plans, priced by pixel, event or request, HelloConversions' price is set by your GHL contact count. Events, conversions and ad spend don't move it. The card below starts at the smallest band, and the pricing page lists the rest up to 80,000 contacts, with a quote past 100,000.

We haven't totalled a Stape bill, because it depends on your pixels, containers, requests and who sets it up. HelloConversions' team can do the setup, included on annual plans or added to any plan. Price both tools for the same account.

Moving GHL events off the Stape app

  1. Connect HelloConversions while the app runs

Leave each Stape integration tab active while you link your GHL account and pick stages in HelloConversions. Leave off any event the app already handles.

  2. Push one opportunity through both

Move one real opportunity through your stages and take its payments. Compare Meta's Events Manager, or your server GTM logs, with the HelloConversions event log.

  3. Take the stage out of the app's tab

Before HelloConversions sends a stage, remove its mapping in the app. If Send all stages is ticked, add the stage to the ignore list instead. A stage sent by both tools can be counted twice.

  4. Switch off the tab, then tidy up Stape

Once the sale matches, switch the app's integration tab off for that sub-account. Keep your server GTM container if your website tags still run through it. Cancel a gateway only when nothing else sends through it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Stape work with GoHighLevel?

Yes. Stape's free HighLevel app installs on a GHL sub-account and sends opportunity stage changes as events you name. It needs an active Stape Meta CAPI Gateway, Signals Gateway or server GTM container to send through.

How much does Stape cost for a GoHighLevel account?

The HighLevel app is free. As of October 22, 2026, Signals Gateway is free up to 10,000 events a month. The Meta CAPI Gateway is $10 a month per pixel, or $8 billed annually, with a 7-day free trial. Server GTM is free up to 10,000 requests, and its logs start on the $20 Pro plan.

Does the Stape HighLevel app send payments or invoices?

Not as documented. Stape's FAQ says the app reacts to opportunity stage changes, and its guide lists no payment, invoice or order trigger. HelloConversions captures GHL payments and invoices, including paid and refunded events, for revenue reporting.

Can Stape send GoHighLevel conversions to Google Ads and TikTok?

Yes, and Stape documents it through server GTM. You send the app's events to a container hosted on Stape, then set up a Google Ads or TikTok tag there. The app's own conversion routes are a Meta CAPI Gateway, a Signals Gateway and server GTM.

Is Stape cheaper than HelloConversions?

It can be, if Meta is all you need. Signals Gateway has a free plan, and the Meta CAPI Gateway is priced per pixel, not by contacts. For Google Ads and TikTok, Stape documents one server GTM container, which has a free plan. Logs start on its Pro plan, and setup help is a separate Stape Care price. HelloConversions' price follows your GHL contact count.

Do I have to cancel Stape to use HelloConversions?

No. Your Stape server GTM container can keep running your website tags. Switch off each GHL stage in the app before HelloConversions sends it, so each lead reaches Meta once.
