ClickMagick vs HelloConversions for GoHighLevel

ClickMagick's GoHighLevel guide tracks sales and refunds and documents no pipeline stages. HelloConversions fills that gap for GHL sellers: it sends the stages you pick, like Booked and Qualified, and bills by GHL contacts, not visitors.

Short answer

Does ClickMagick work with GoHighLevel, or is HelloConversions a better fit?

ClickMagick works with GoHighLevel for sales. Its HighLevel guide uses a workflow webhook for payments and refunds, and it has no steps for pipeline stages. If your pipeline runs in GHL, HelloConversions fits better. It sends the stages you choose, such as Booked and Qualified, and prices by GHL contacts instead of tracked visitors. ClickMagick is the pick when each ad's profit decides its budget.

What each row measures
What the bill scales with
The usage measure the vendor's published pricing grows with, such as CRM contacts, tracked revenue, sessions, pageviews, visitors, events or ad spend.
Lowest published paid plan
The monthly price of the cheapest published paid plan that a GoHighLevel lead-gen or service business would buy, on the check date, with its billing term. When the vendor has separate ladders (ecom and lead gen, say), it is the lead-gen ladder. Free plans are covered by the trial row.
GoHighLevel connection
How the product receives data from GoHighLevel (contacts, opportunities, payments): a documented native integration (app or OAuth), webhooks sent from GHL workflows, or a tracking script on pages only. Writing data into GHL is not receiving it.
Sends GHL stage changes
Whether a chosen GoHighLevel opportunity stage change (for example Booked or Qualified) can be sent to an ad platform as a conversion, and what has to be built per stage.
Reads GHL payments
Whether payments recorded in GoHighLevel (orders, invoices, transactions) reach the product as revenue, so a deposit and a later balance are both counted.
Meta Conversions API
Whether the product sends conversions to Meta server-side through the Conversions API, and on which plan.
Google Ads offline conversions
Whether CRM conversions are sent to Google Ads as offline click conversions or enhanced conversions for leads.
Per-event delivery log
Whether you can inspect each event the product sent to an ad platform: the payload, the destination and the platform's response or error (an outbound log). A log of the events the product received is an inbound log and answers a different question.
Choice of attribution model
Whether reports can credit sales to campaigns under more than one documented model (for example first click, last click, linear).
Revenue against ad spend
Whether the product reports collected revenue next to ad spend from its own data, and at which level: the account total, campaign, ad (ad set and ad) or creative.

From the first click to a refund: one GHL deal in both tools

Here's a $1,000 deal that starts with an ad click on your GHL landing page. The lead books a call, a rep qualifies them, and they pay $300 down and $700 later. Then you refund $100. Each row sticks to what ClickMagick and HelloConversions document.
  1. A visitor opts in on your GHL landing page

With HelloConversionsOnce the opt-in's opportunity reaches a stage you mapped, HelloConversions sends that stage. The contact's email, phone, name, city and state travel hashed with SHA-256.

With ClickMagickClickMagick's click code tracks the visit. Its conversion code on the thank-you page, or its incoming webhook, can record the opt-in.

  2. They book a sales call

With HelloConversionsMoving the opportunity to your Booked stage sends that stage, if you picked it. There's no workflow to build to send it.

With ClickMagickThe guide's workflow has two triggers, Payment Received and Refund, so a booking isn't part of it.

  3. A rep marks them qualified

With HelloConversionsWhen the rep moves the deal to a mapped Qualified stage, it's sent right away. Meta can get it as qualified_lead, and Google Ads as an offline conversion.

With ClickMagickThe guide documents no stage setup, so the qualified step isn't covered either.

  4. They pay a $300 deposit

With HelloConversionsThe $300 lands in HelloConversions' revenue reports as a GHL payment. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

With ClickMagickThe Payment Received trigger posts the payment to ClickMagick. Tracked sales can go to your ad networks through Audience Optimization. Whether a deposit and its balance count as one sale isn't documented.

  5. They pay the $700 balance

With HelloConversionsRevenue reports pick up the $700 and the invoice's paid event. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

With ClickMagickThe same trigger fires again for the $700. How ClickMagick links the two payments, or values them at the ad networks, isn't documented.

  6. You refund $100

With HelloConversionsGHL's refunded invoice event feeds HelloConversions' revenue reports. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a partial refund is valued there isn't documented.

With ClickMagickThe Refund trigger posts the refund ID, currency and amount to ClickMagick. Whether that changes what Audience Optimization already sent isn't documented.

Stages, billing, setup, pixels and reports: how the two compare

  1. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Stage events before any payment arrives

ClickMagick's HighLevel guide builds one workflow, triggered by Payment Received and Refund, and documents no stage setup. Its generic incoming webhook can record other conversions, such as an opt-in, though no HighLevel steps are given. With HelloConversions, you map the stages that matter. Each one reaches Meta's Conversions API, Google Ads or TikTok when an opportunity enters it. When the sale happens on a call, the booking and the qualified lead are the signals that come before any payment.

  2. Where HelloConversions is ahead

A bill sized by your list, not your traffic

ClickMagick sizes its plans by tracked visitors: 10,000 on Starter, 100,000 on Standard and 1,000,000 on Pro. HelloConversions prices by the contacts in your GHL account, and events, conversions and ad spend don't change the price. Which costs less depends on your traffic and your list, so price both.

  3. Where HelloConversions is ahead

A GHL connection you authorize, not one you assemble

ClickMagick's HighLevel guide uses a GHL workflow with two triggers and a Webhook action, plus three custom data items you paste in. HelloConversions connects to GHL by one-click OAuth, so there are no API keys or webhooks to set up.

  4. Your current pixel: keep it, or start a new one

ClickMagick recommends sending its conversions to a new pixel or dataset that nothing else feeds. It suggests letting that pixel collect data for at least a week or two before your ads optimize on it. Because nothing else sends there, ClickMagick says deduplication isn't a concern. HelloConversions takes the other route and dedupes its server events against your Meta and TikTok pixel events. Either way, each event needs one sender.

  5. Where ClickMagick is ahead

Profit and ROAS, ad by ad

ClickMagick's UTM Performance Report goes down to the single ad and sorts by profit, ROAS or ROI. That shows which ads to scale and which to switch off. HelloConversions' Marketing Efficiency dashboard weighs total sales against Meta and Google spend, and its reporting dashboards filter by UTM. Profit or ROAS per ad isn't documented there. For budgets set one ad at a time, ClickMagick's reports go further.

A fair look

ClickMagick's home turf: click tracking and per-ad profit

ClickMagick is ad tracking built around the click. Its code goes on your pages, and it credits each sale to the ad behind the visit. Audience Optimization then sends those conversions to seven ad networks: Meta, Google, Microsoft, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and ChatGPT Ads.

On GoHighLevel, its guide has you set up click tracking first, with the code in the Header Tracking Code of your landing pages. Next you build a workflow with Payment Received and Refund triggers and a Webhook action. From then on, sales, upsells and refunds reach ClickMagick, usually within a few minutes.

Its reports go down to the single ad. The UTM Performance Report breaks results out by source, campaign, keyword or individual ad, sorted by profit, ROAS or ROI. An attribution filter switches between last click, first click, linear, position-based and time decay, with the advanced models from Standard.

It fits an advertiser who sends paid traffic to their own pages across several networks and judges each ad on profit. Weighing more trackers than these two? Start with the full tool comparison, or read how Hyros stacks up.

ClickMagick's three plans, and the HelloConversions bill beside them

ClickMagick publishes three plans. As of October 22, 2026, Starter is $79 a month for 10,000 tracked visitors. Standard is $199 for 100,000, and Pro is $349 for 1,000,000. Yearly billing costs $790, $1,990 or $3,490. Each plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

The plan also sets what you get. Starter keeps six months of data and covers one website or store. Standard keeps a year of data and adds a one-on-one onboarding call, the advanced attribution models and phone or offline sales tracking.

HelloConversions' price comes from your GHL contact count. Its lowest band is in the card below. The pricing page lists bands to 80,000 contacts, and accounts over 100,000 get a quote.

Visitors and contacts don't convert into each other. Heavy traffic with a small list leans toward a contact-based bill. A big list with light traffic can come out cheaper on ClickMagick's Starter. Count both for your account before you decide.

Switching from ClickMagick, one event at a time

  1. Start with the stages the HighLevel guide leaves out

Connect HelloConversions to GHL and send stages first, such as Booked and Qualified. ClickMagick's HighLevel guide doesn't set those up, so they shouldn't overlap with what it sends. If you added a webhook that records them in ClickMagick, check that first.

  2. Line up both logs for one sale

Pick one sale with a deposit, a balance and a refund. Open ClickMagick's Audience Optimization log, which shows each conversion and the network's response. Then find the same sale in the HelloConversions event log and compare what each one sent.

  3. Let one tool feed each pixel

ClickMagick's own advice is that nothing else should send conversions to a dataset you optimize on. Decide which pixel or dataset your ads will use, then let one tool send purchases there. Turn the other tool's purchase send off first, so Meta doesn't receive the same sale from two places.

  4. Unpublish the webhook workflow last

Once the sale matches, unpublish the ClickMagick Webhook workflow in GHL. Pull the UTM Performance Report numbers you need beforehand. Your ClickMagick plan sets how long data is kept, and on Starter that's six months.

Frequently asked questions

How does ClickMagick's HighLevel integration work?

Through a GHL workflow you build. ClickMagick's HighLevel guide has you add Payment Received and Refund triggers and a Webhook action. It then tracks sales, upsells and refunds without sales tracking code on your pages. Its click tracking code still goes in your landing pages' Header Tracking Code.

Does ClickMagick's HighLevel workflow cover booked or qualified stages?

Not as documented. The guide sets up Payment Received and Refund triggers only, with no stage setup. ClickMagick's generic incoming webhook can record other conversions, such as opt-ins, but it has no HighLevel steps. HelloConversions sends the stages you map, with no Webhook action to add.

What does each ClickMagick plan cost?

As of October 22, 2026, Starter is $79 a month for 10,000 tracked visitors. Standard is $199 for 100,000, and Pro is $349 for 1,000,000. Billed yearly, they cost $790, $1,990 and $3,490. The pricing page offers a 14-day free trial.

How does HelloConversions report attribution next to ClickMagick?

By UTM source, campaign, medium and content, with email revenue on 7-day last touch. HelloConversions documents no choice of model. ClickMagick switches between five models on Standard or Pro and ranks single ads by profit, ROAS or ROI.

How do agencies manage several clients in ClickMagick?

Through its Business Manager, which runs every client account from one dashboard. Its agencies page lists a 35% agency discount. ClickMagick's HighLevel guide doesn't mention sub-accounts, and Starter covers one website and one ad account per platform. In HelloConversions, every sub-account connects separately and keeps its own dashboards, all reachable from one login. Sub-account support is listed on the Growth / RevOps plan.

Can ClickMagick's ad-level reports stay on after I switch?

Yes. ClickMagick tracks clicks and sales for its reports separately from what Audience Optimization sends. Let HelloConversions send your GHL stages and purchases to the pixel your ads optimize on. Then switch off ClickMagick's Audience Optimization for that pixel, since ClickMagick advises that nothing else sends conversions there.
