RedTrack vs HelloConversions for GoHighLevel

RedTrack's GoHighLevel guide uses a custom tracking domain, a script and hidden field on each form, and a webhook per conversion type. A GHL seller has a simpler route in HelloConversions: one OAuth connection sends the stages you choose and captures GHL payments for revenue reporting.

Short answer

How does RedTrack track GoHighLevel conversions?

Through webhooks you set up in GHL. RedTrack's guide sets up a custom tracking domain, then puts its script and a hidden click ID field on each form. In the guide, each webhook sends one conversion type, and revenue comes from an optional sum field. Sell through GHL? Skip that build with HelloConversions: one OAuth connection sends the stages you choose and captures GHL payments for revenue reporting.

What each row measures
What the bill scales with
The usage measure the vendor's published pricing grows with, such as CRM contacts, tracked revenue, sessions, pageviews, visitors, events or ad spend.
Lowest published paid plan
The monthly price of the cheapest published paid plan that a GoHighLevel lead-gen or service business would buy, on the check date, with its billing term. When the vendor has separate ladders (ecom and lead gen, say), it is the lead-gen ladder. Free plans are covered by the trial row.
Free trial or free plan
Whether someone can try the product without paying: a time-limited free trial or a permanent free plan, as published. Performance offers, refund terms and paid pilots are not trials.
GoHighLevel connection
How the product receives data from GoHighLevel (contacts, opportunities, payments): a documented native integration (app or OAuth), webhooks sent from GHL workflows, or a tracking script on pages only. Writing data into GHL is not receiving it.
Sends GHL stage changes
Whether a chosen GoHighLevel opportunity stage change (for example Booked or Qualified) can be sent to an ad platform as a conversion, and what has to be built per stage.
Reads GHL payments
Whether payments recorded in GoHighLevel (orders, invoices, transactions) reach the product as revenue, so a deposit and a later balance are both counted.
Meta Conversions API
Whether the product sends conversions to Meta server-side through the Conversions API, and on which plan.
Google Ads offline conversions
Whether CRM conversions are sent to Google Ads as offline click conversions or enhanced conversions for leads.
Choice of attribution model
Whether reports can credit sales to campaigns under more than one documented model (for example first click, last click, linear).
Revenue against ad spend
Whether the product reports collected revenue next to ad spend from its own data, and at which level: the account total, campaign, ad (ad set and ad) or creative.

What RedTrack's webhooks and HelloConversions record for one GHL deal

Take one $1,000 sale: an opt-in, a scheduled call, a qualified deal, $300 up front, the $700 balance and then a $100 refund. Each row says what each vendor's own documentation covers at that step, and nothing more.
  1. The lead submits a form on your GHL funnel

With HelloConversionsHelloConversions captures the form submission, and it can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as a Lead event. Email, phone, first and last name, city and state go along, hashed with SHA-256.

With RedTrackThe funnel carries RedTrack's universal script, and the form a hidden rtclickid field plus the ghl.js script. A published workflow webhook then posts the click ID and a conversion type you named in RedTrack.

  2. They schedule a call

With HelloConversionsWhen the opportunity reaches your Booked stage, that stage goes out, provided you picked it. There's no GHL workflow or webhook to build for it.

With RedTrackThe guide names no booking trigger. A second webhook, under a GHL trigger you choose, can post a separate conversion type for the call.

  3. Your closer qualifies the deal

With HelloConversionsYour Qualified stage can reach Meta as qualified_lead, Google Ads as an offline conversion and TikTok as Contact.

With RedTrackIn the guide's pattern, that's one more webhook and conversion type. Mapped conversion types go to Google Ads by API against the click ID, and failed uploads retry every 4 hours for 36 hours.

  4. The buyer pays $300 up front

With HelloConversionsThe $300 shows up in revenue reports as a captured GHL payment. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

With RedTrackIn the HighLevel guide, revenue reaches RedTrack through a sum field you map in the webhook. Its example is the opportunity's lead value, and the guide names no payment trigger. How a deposit is valued at ad platforms isn't documented.

  5. The $700 balance follows

With HelloConversionsThe $700 payment is captured for revenue reporting too. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

With RedTrackThe HighLevel guide doesn't cover a second payment. RedTrack's conversion settings let a repeat conversion on the same click add to the first one's revenue or replace it. For API-connected ad platforms, RedTrack says the edited conversion is updated there too.

  6. You issue a $100 refund

With HelloConversionsThe $100 refund is captured for revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a partial refund is valued there isn't documented.

With RedTrackThe HighLevel guide names no refund trigger. RedTrack's docs let you change a recorded conversion's payout, by a later postback or a CSV upload, and its status by hand. How a partial refund is valued at ad platforms isn't documented.

Webhooks, stages, revenue, billing and per-ad ROI, side by side

  1. Where HelloConversions is ahead

One authorization instead of a per-form build

RedTrack's HighLevel guide starts with a custom tracking domain on a CNAME record. Each funnel then gets RedTrack's universal script, and each form gets a hidden rtclickid field, custom CSS and the ghl.js script. The guide says these settings apply one funnel and form at a time. HelloConversions connects to GHL by one-click OAuth, with no API keys or webhooks to set up.

  2. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Stages you pick, not a webhook for each conversion type

In RedTrack's guide, each webhook sits under a GHL trigger you choose and sends one convtype, the name of a RedTrack conversion type. So a booked call and a qualified lead would each get their own webhook, and the guide names no pipeline stage trigger. In HelloConversions, you choose the stages to send, with no GHL workflow or webhook to build. Each one goes out when an opportunity enters it. Qualified can reach Meta as qualified_lead and Google Ads as an offline conversion.

  3. Where HelloConversions is ahead

GHL payments as revenue, not a mapped lead value

In RedTrack's HighLevel guide, revenue from GHL comes from a sum field you add to the webhook and map to a GHL value. The guide's example is the opportunity's lead value rather than a payment, and it covers no payment, invoice or refund trigger. On the HelloConversions side, GHL purchases, payments, subscriptions and paid or refunded invoices are captured for revenue reporting. Its revenue dashboards set those sales against your Meta and Google ad spend.

  4. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Contact bands instead of an event meter

RedTrack's lead gen plans are sized by tracked events, which count clicks, conversions and postbacks. Solo includes 5 million a month and charges $0.04 per 1,000 after that. HelloConversions sets its bill by your GHL contact band instead. An event meter rises with every click and postback, while a contact band changes only when your contact count does.

  5. Where RedTrack is ahead

Spend, revenue and ROI for every ad

Every paid RedTrack plan syncs ad spend at the ad level. It shows spend, revenue and ROI per ad, then per ad set, campaign and channel. Solo syncs every 60 minutes, Team and Enterprise every 30, and faster sync is a paid add-on. HelloConversions puts account-total sales next to Meta and Google spend, with MER and UTM filters, and documents no ROI per ad. A media buyer who prunes ads on that data gets it from RedTrack, with Stop Rules to cut losing ads by rule.

A fair look

Where RedTrack shines: ad-level ROI across many traffic sources

RedTrack is ad tracking and attribution software for affiliates, lead gen and ecommerce teams. It pulls spend by API from supported ad platforms, such as Meta, Google and TikTok. It then matches that spend to its own tracking at the ad level. You see spend, revenue and ROI for the single ad, then for the ad set, campaign and channel. Stop Rules, which cut losing ads, come with every lead gen plan.

Conversions go back to ad platforms through native CAPI for Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Microsoft, X, Pinterest and OpenAI Ads, on every paid plan. Networks without a native API get S2S postbacks instead. Plans, limits, add-ons and overage rates are all published, and only Custom needs a quote.

It sells two ladders: affiliate and lead gen plans sized by tracked events, and ecom plans tiered by annual tracked revenue. Its attribution report, with eight models, is documented for the paid ecom plans. RedTrack fits a buyer running paid traffic across many networks, or a store that wants multi-touch views. Paying by events or by contacts: RedTrack and HelloConversions pricing

As of October 22, 2026, RedTrack's lead gen ladder opens with Solo. It costs $169 a month, billed monthly, for 5 million tracked events and one user. Team is $399 for 20 million events and five users. Enterprise is $999 for 75 million events and 15 users, and Custom, from 100 million, is quoted.

Past the allowance, extra events cost $0.04 per 1,000 on Solo, $0.035 on Team and $0.025 on Enterprise. Faster spend sync, Ads Manager editing and Scale Rules are add-ons priced by ad spend, and Enterprise includes the last two. We quote monthly billing here, and RedTrack's page lists lower rates for 12-month terms.

The ecom ladder is separate and tiered by annual tracked revenue. Relay is a free plan for one store, and Brand starts at $99 a month at the $250K tier. A GHL service business would be on the lead gen ladder.

HelloConversions' price follows the contacts in your GHL account, and event volume, conversions and ad spend leave it unchanged. The card below shows where its bands begin. The published contact bands run through 80,000 contacts, and accounts above 100,000 are quoted. For a fair comparison, find the RedTrack plan your monthly events fall into and the HelloConversions band your contacts fall into.

Retiring the RedTrack webhooks in your GHL workflows

  1. Add the OAuth connection first, webhooks untouched

Connect your GHL account to HelloConversions by OAuth and choose the stages it should send. RedTrack's published webhook actions keep running in the meantime. Leave out any stage whose conversion type RedTrack already passes to an ad platform.

  2. Check one two-payment sale in both tools

Choose a recent deal that was booked, qualified and paid as a deposit and a balance. Look it up in RedTrack's Logs > API Postbacks soon, since those logs are kept for 7 days. Compare those entries with what the HelloConversions per-event send log shows for that deal, and with the payments in its revenue reports.

  3. Let one tool own each conversion

RedTrack's Meta events carry an event_id taken from rtclickid or a parameter you assign. Two tools sending one purchase to Meta can make a single sale look like two. Unpublish the RedTrack webhook for an event before HelloConversions starts sending it.

  4. Scale RedTrack down to the traffic it still covers

Once that deal reconciles, move your remaining GHL events across. Snapchat, Microsoft Ads and other networks outside HelloConversions' Meta, Google Ads and TikTok coverage can stay on RedTrack. Plan size sets how long RedTrack keeps your data: 12 months on Solo, 24 on Team and 36 on Enterprise.

Frequently asked questions

Why does RedTrack's GoHighLevel webhook need a custom tracking domain?

Because the guide says the webhook won't trigger without it. You add the domain in RedTrack with a CNAME record and free SSL. Then it replaces RedTrack's default domain in the webhook URL. The same domain goes into the ghl.js script on each form. HelloConversions connects to GHL by OAuth instead, with no webhook URL to edit.

Can RedTrack pull revenue from GHL payments?

Its HighLevel guide uses a field you add. You put sum in the webhook's custom data and pick a GHL value, and the example is the opportunity's lead value. The guide names no payment or invoice trigger. RedTrack's conversion settings can add a repeat conversion's revenue to the first one or replace it. HelloConversions captures GHL payments and invoices for revenue reporting.

Which RedTrack plan would a GHL lead gen business buy?

One from the affiliate and lead gen ladder. As of October 22, 2026, Solo is $169 a month, billed monthly, for 5 million events. Team is $399 for 20 million, and Enterprise is $999 for 75 million. Solo, Team and Enterprise each start with a 14-day free trial. The ecom plans, including the free Relay plan, are a separate ladder.

Does RedTrack's attribution modelling report work on lead gen plans?

Not as documented. RedTrack's attribution report, with eight models from first touch to linear, is on its paid ecom plans. Affiliates are told to contact support. HelloConversions reports by UTM source, campaign, medium and content, with email revenue on 7-day last touch. It documents no choice of model.

What do RedTrack's API postback logs show?

The conversions RedTrack sent to Google, Meta, Bing and other CAPI destinations, kept for 7 days. Failed Google Ads uploads retry every 4 hours for 36 hours. The HelloConversions log lists each event's destination, type, parameters and the platform's response status. A "Matched" status there only says the platform accepted the event, not that a person was matched.
