CustomerLabs vs HelloConversions for GoHighLevel

CustomerLabs describes GoHighLevel stage syncing as no-code, yet the one GHL guide it publishes walks through a form webhook. HelloConversions spells out each GHL piece for a seller: one-click OAuth, the stages you pick, and GHL payments captured for revenue reporting.

Short answer

Does CustomerLabs sync GoHighLevel stages and payments to ad platforms?

CustomerLabs' GoHighLevel page says stage updates sync to ad platforms in real time, with custom stages mapped without code. Its GHL setup guide covers form submissions sent by a workflow webhook, and neither page mentions GHL payments. HelloConversions fits a GHL seller better: OAuth instead of the guide's webhook, the stages you pick, and GHL payments captured for revenue reporting. Agencies running audiences across domains get more from CustomerLabs.

What each row measures
What the bill scales with
The usage measure the vendor's published pricing grows with, such as CRM contacts, tracked revenue, sessions, pageviews, visitors, events or ad spend.
Lowest published paid plan
The monthly price of the cheapest published paid plan that a GoHighLevel lead-gen or service business would buy, on the check date, with its billing term. When the vendor has separate ladders (ecom and lead gen, say), it is the lead-gen ladder. Free plans are covered by the trial row.
Free trial or free plan
Whether someone can try the product without paying: a time-limited free trial or a permanent free plan, as published. Performance offers, refund terms and paid pilots are not trials.
GoHighLevel connection
How the product receives data from GoHighLevel (contacts, opportunities, payments): a documented native integration (app or OAuth), webhooks sent from GHL workflows, or a tracking script on pages only. Writing data into GHL is not receiving it.
Sends GHL stage changes
Whether a chosen GoHighLevel opportunity stage change (for example Booked or Qualified) can be sent to an ad platform as a conversion, and what has to be built per stage.
Reads GHL payments
Whether payments recorded in GoHighLevel (orders, invoices, transactions) reach the product as revenue, so a deposit and a later balance are both counted.
Meta Conversions API
Whether the product sends conversions to Meta server-side through the Conversions API, and on which plan.
Google Ads offline conversions
Whether CRM conversions are sent to Google Ads as offline click conversions or enhanced conversions for leads.
TikTok Events API
Whether conversions are sent to TikTok server-side, whether the vendor calls it the Events API or server events to the TikTok pixel. Browser-only pixel events do not count.
Choice of attribution model
Whether reports can credit sales to campaigns under more than one documented model (for example first click, last click, linear).

One GHL sale, checked against CustomerLabs' page and its setup guide

Take a $1,000 sale run through GoHighLevel. Someone opts in, a call gets booked, and a rep marks them qualified. Then a $300 deposit comes in, the $700 balance follows, and you refund $100. On the CustomerLabs side, each cell separates what its GoHighLevel page says from what its setup guide shows. Neither vendor documents what value an ad platform gets for the deposit, the balance or the refund.
  1. A lead submits your GHL opt-in form

With HelloConversionsHelloConversions captures the GHL form submission, which can reach Meta, Google Ads or TikTok as a Lead event. When the opt-in also puts an opportunity into one of your chosen stages, that stage is sent as well. Hashed contact details travel with each event.

With CustomerLabsThe guide's Form Submitted workflow posts the form, with its hidden cluid field, to a CustomerLabs webhook. A CustomerLabs workflow can turn it into a lead event, which its servers can send to Meta's Conversions API.

  2. They book a call

With HelloConversionsThe move into Booked goes out when it happens, provided you chose that stage. You don't add a GHL workflow or webhook for it.

With CustomerLabsIf Booked is a pipeline stage, the GHL page says stage updates reach ad platforms in real time. Neither GHL page shows the setup that connects it.

  3. A rep moves them to Qualified

With HelloConversionsOnce the rep drags the deal into Qualified, HelloConversions sends it to each platform you mapped, such as qualified_lead in Meta.

With CustomerLabsQualified is one of the stages its GHL page names as a conversion event for ad platforms. The guide it links to doesn't cover stages.

  4. They pay a $300 deposit

With HelloConversionsCaptured as a GHL payment for revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

With CustomerLabsNeither of its GHL pages mentions payments, invoices or orders. How a deposit reaches CustomerLabs isn't documented.

  5. They pay the $700 balance

With HelloConversionsHelloConversions captures the $700 as a second GHL payment, for revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

With CustomerLabsIf the deal then moves to Closed-Won, its GHL page says that stage goes to ad platforms. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

  6. You refund $100

With HelloConversionsThe refunded invoice event from GHL feeds revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a partial refund is valued there isn't documented.

With CustomerLabsNeither GHL page mentions refunds, so how one would reach an ad platform isn't documented.

Where a GHL seller will feel the difference

  1. Where HelloConversions is ahead

A stage setup you can read before you start

CustomerLabs' GoHighLevel page says pipeline stage updates, custom stages included, reach ad platforms as conversion events. Its FAQ says a new custom stage is a UI change that maps without code, and calls setup a no-code job of a few hours. The setup guide that page links to covers form data instead. In GHL, it uses a Form Submitted or Survey Submitted workflow with a Webhook action, plus a hidden cluid field on each form. Neither page shows how stage changes are connected. HelloConversions connects by OAuth with no GHL workflow or webhook to build. You pick the stages it sends to Meta's CAPI, Google Ads and TikTok. Before you buy CustomerLabs, ask to see one GHL stage change reach Meta on a demo.

  2. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Deposits and balances, captured as GHL payments

CustomerLabs' GoHighLevel page ties revenue to pipeline stages such as Closed-Won. Neither of its GHL pages names payments, invoices or orders. HelloConversions captures purchases, payments, subscriptions and invoice events from GHL (created, paid and refunded) for revenue reporting. A $300 deposit and the $700 balance each reach those reports as a GHL payment.

  3. Where HelloConversions is ahead

A bill that doesn't count each destination

CustomerLabs bills in usage units. Each event costs 0.40 units when it's collected and 0.20 units for each destination it's sent to. Its billing FAQ puts it plainly: one event sent to 10 destinations counts 10 times. Scanning and storing data use units as well. HelloConversions charges by GHL contact band instead. Events, conversions and ad spend don't change it.

  4. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Revenue beside ad spend, with no warehouse to run

On CustomerLabs' GoHighLevel page, first-click, last-click and data-driven reports run on its data in BigQuery, Snowflake or your own warehouse. In HelloConversions, the Marketing Efficiency view lines up total sales with Meta and Google ad spend, along with MER and cost per lead. It's one of six dashboards on every plan, filtered by UTM and date. HelloConversions documents no choice of attribution model.

  5. Where CustomerLabs is ahead

One profile per person, synced audiences and more ad networks

CustomerLabs stitches page views, form fills and ad clicks across domains into one profile attached to the GHL contact. It syncs audiences built from GHL pipeline data and site behavior to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok. Exclusion lists update when a contact closes, churns or is disqualified. Its destination docs also send events to Microsoft's Bing Ads, Reddit, Snapchat and Taboola. HelloConversions documents no audience sync and doesn't list LinkedIn or those four networks as destinations. An agency running audience strategy across domains, or buying Bing Ads, gets real value here.

A fair look

CustomerLabs as a data platform: profiles, audiences and destinations

CustomerLabs is a first-party data platform, and GoHighLevel is one of its sources. It collects website, CRM and offline data, resolves it into one profile per person, and sends events and audiences to ad platforms. Its Growth plan is sold to small businesses, and its two agency plans include 5 or 10 accounts.

Its GoHighLevel page describes the GHL side in detail. Page views, form fills and ad clicks are stitched across domains into one profile attached to the GHL contact. It says stage updates such as Qualified, Closed-Won and Closed-Lost go back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and other ad platforms as conversion events.

Audiences are a big part of the pitch. It builds them from GHL pipeline data and website behavior, and exclusion lists update when a contact closes, churns or is disqualified. Lookalikes can be seeded from Closed-Won contacts. Its Destination Logs show the payload sent to each platform and the error when a send fails.

CustomerLabs suits an agency that runs audience strategy across many funnels and domains, or a team that already works in a data warehouse. Looking at other GHL tracking tools as well? Our matrix of GHL conversion tools sets them side by side.

CustomerLabs pricing in usage units, next to a price set by GHL contacts

As of October 2026, CustomerLabs publishes three plans. Growth is $129 a month for 500,000 usage units. Agency Lite is $499 for 5 accounts and 2.5 million units, and Agency Premium is $999 for 10 accounts and 5 million units.

Quarterly ($387 for Growth) and yearly ($1,548) billing cost the same per month as monthly billing. Extra usage comes in packs of 500,000 units at $27.25, and a partly used pack bills in full. A dedicated solution engineer is an add-on at $250 a month.

On the HelloConversions side, your GHL contact count sets the price, and the pricing card under this section shows the entry band. Published contact-band prices stop at 80,000 contacts. Bigger accounts, past 100,000, get a quote. Done-for-you setup is also available: included with annual plans, or bought as an add-on.

We don't estimate a CustomerLabs bill. Its units depend on the events you collect, the destinations each one goes to, and the data scanned and stored. Run both numbers for the same GHL account before you choose.

Handing GHL events from CustomerLabs to HelloConversions

  1. Authorize HelloConversions with CustomerLabs still sending

Give HelloConversions OAuth access to your GHL account and pick the stages to send. Keep your CustomerLabs workflows and destinations live, and don't map any event CustomerLabs already sends.

  2. Compare one sale's events in both logs

Choose a sale from the past few weeks that had a deposit and a balance. CustomerLabs' Destination Logs cover the last 28 days, so don't wait long. Open its events there and in the HelloConversions log of every sent event, then compare how each tool recorded the two payments.

  3. Pick one sender per event and platform

If both tools send one purchase to Meta, Meta may see two sales. Switch that send off in CustomerLabs first, then map the event in HelloConversions.

  4. Decide what CustomerLabs keeps doing

Once the sale matches, move your other GHL events across. You can keep CustomerLabs for audiences and LinkedIn if your team still uses them. If not, remove its script from your GHL pages and unpublish the form webhook workflow.

Frequently asked questions

Which GHL triggers does CustomerLabs' setup guide use?

Form Submitted and Survey Submitted. The guide has you add a hidden cluid field to each GHL form and a CustomerLabs script set to your page path and domain. A workflow on one of those triggers then posts the form to a CustomerLabs webhook. The guide doesn't cover pipeline stages or payments.

Will a GHL deposit and balance show up in CustomerLabs?

Not as documented. Neither its GoHighLevel page nor its setup guide mentions GHL payments, invoices or orders, and the GHL page ties revenue to stages such as Closed-Won. HelloConversions captures each GHL payment and invoice event, refunds too, for revenue reporting. Ask CustomerLabs how a GHL payment would reach it.

What is a CustomerLabs usage unit?

It's the unit CustomerLabs bills in. As of October 2026, each event uses 0.40 units when it's collected and 0.20 units for each destination it's sent to. Scanning and storing data use units too. Growth includes 500,000 units a month for $129, and extra packs of 500,000 cost $27.25.

Is CustomerLabs' TikTok Ads integration out of beta?

Not yet. As of October 2026, its TikTok Ads doc says the integration is currently in beta. Each event can go server-side, client-side or both, and TikTok dedupes the pair. HelloConversions sends GHL events to TikTok's Events API, including stage changes, mapped to events such as SubmitForm and CompletePayment.

Where do CustomerLabs' attribution reports run?

In your data warehouse, according to its GoHighLevel page. It says first-click, last-click and data-driven reports run on its data in BigQuery, Snowflake or your own warehouse. HelloConversions reports in six built-in dashboards, broken out by UTM source, campaign, medium and content. It documents no model to pick.

Which tool should own LinkedIn and audience syncs?

CustomerLabs. HelloConversions documents no audience sync, and LinkedIn isn't one of its destinations. CustomerLabs syncs audiences built from GHL pipeline data and site behavior to Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok. You can keep it for that job while HelloConversions sends your GHL stage events. Just give each conversion event a single sender.
