Short answer

If LeadJourney already connects to GoHighLevel, why pick HelloConversions?

If you sell through GHL and plan to grow ad spend, HelloConversions is the pick. LeadJourney's GHL app is native, with OAuth, a trigger per stage, invoices and orders, and Meta and Google conversions on every plan. But its price follows tracked ad spend, while HelloConversions prices by GHL contacts. It also sends GHL conversions to TikTok's Events API now. Choose LeadJourney for six attribution models and GHL write-back.

What each row measures
What the bill scales with
The usage measure the vendor's published pricing grows with, such as CRM contacts, tracked revenue, sessions, pageviews, visitors, events or ad spend.
Lowest published paid plan
The monthly price of the cheapest published paid plan that a GoHighLevel lead-gen or service business would buy, on the check date, with its billing term. When the vendor has separate ladders (ecom and lead gen, say), it is the lead-gen ladder. Free plans are covered by the trial row.
Free trial or free plan
Whether someone can try the product without paying: a time-limited free trial or a permanent free plan, as published. Performance offers, refund terms and paid pilots are not trials.
GoHighLevel connection
How the product receives data from GoHighLevel (contacts, opportunities, payments): a documented native integration (app or OAuth), webhooks sent from GHL workflows, or a tracking script on pages only. Writing data into GHL is not receiving it.
Sends GHL stage changes
Whether a chosen GoHighLevel opportunity stage change (for example Booked or Qualified) can be sent to an ad platform as a conversion, and what has to be built per stage.
Reads GHL payments
Whether payments recorded in GoHighLevel (orders, invoices, transactions) reach the product as revenue, so a deposit and a later balance are both counted.
TikTok Events API
Whether conversions are sent to TikTok server-side, whether the vendor calls it the Events API or server events to the TikTok pixel. Browser-only pixel events do not count.
Sends hashed customer details
Whether server events include hashed customer identifiers (email, phone, name) so the ad platform can match them to people. Sent is not the same as matched.
Choice of attribution model
Whether reports can credit sales to campaigns under more than one documented model (for example first click, last click, linear).
Revenue against ad spend
Whether the product reports collected revenue next to ad spend from its own data, and at which level: the account total, campaign, ad (ad set and ad) or creative.

Tracing one GHL buyer from opt-in to partial refund

This buyer starts on your GHL opt-in form. A booked call, a Qualified stage, a $300 deposit and a $700 balance follow, then a $100 refund. Both tools read GHL natively, so most rows are close. Neither tool says how a deposit, a balance or a partial refund is valued on an ad platform.
  1. The buyer fills in your GHL opt-in form

With HelloConversionsHelloConversions captures the form submission. Meta can get it as lead, Google Ads as generate_lead and TikTok as SubmitForm, with the contact's details hashed.

With LeadJourneyLeadJourney's guide adds a hidden lj_click_id field to each GHL form, since its script can't read forms inside an iframe. A form submission trigger then records the opt-in as a conversion.

  2. They pick a time on your GHL calendar

With HelloConversionsWhen the opportunity reaches your Booked stage, and Booked is one you chose, HelloConversions sends it. It goes out mapped to an event on each ad platform.

With LeadJourneyAn appointment trigger maps the booking onto a conversion type. Mapped events go out through the ad postbacks you've already set up.

  3. Your rep moves them to Qualified

With HelloConversionsQualified can reach Meta as qualified_lead, Google Ads as an offline conversion and TikTok as a Contact event.

With LeadJourneyAn opportunity trigger can watch for one stage value, such as Qualified. Its GHL page says you choose which stages go back to the ad platforms.

  4. A $300 deposit is paid in GHL

With HelloConversionsGHL records the $300 payment, and HelloConversions captures it for revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

With LeadJourneyIts GHL page says invoices and orders are read with amount, currency and payment status. Paid invoices go back to the ad platforms with the amount attached. How a deposit is valued there isn't documented.

  5. The $700 balance clears the invoice

With HelloConversionsBoth GHL payments, plus the paid invoice, now sit in revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

With LeadJourneyOnce GHL marks the invoice paid, the page says the amount goes back to the platform that produced the click. How a balance is valued there isn't documented.

  6. You refund $100

With HelloConversionsThe refunded invoice event lands in revenue reporting. Purchase events can go to Meta, Google Ads and TikTok. How a partial refund is valued there isn't documented.

With LeadJourneyNeither LeadJourney's GHL page nor its setup guide mentions refunds. How a partial refund is valued on ad platforms isn't documented.

The narrow differences between two native GHL tools

  1. Where HelloConversions is ahead

Your bill stays put when ad spend climbs

LeadJourney's plans follow the marketing spend it measures in your connected ad accounts. Launch covers up to €5,000 a month, Starter up to €15,000 and Growth up to €50,000. Agency plans count managed spend plus the leads and sales generated. On HelloConversions, your GHL contact count sets the price, and raising ad spend leaves it where it is. That price still climbs as your list grows, so weigh both meters against your own numbers.

  2. Where HelloConversions is ahead

TikTok conversions now, not on a coming-soon list

HelloConversions sends GHL conversions, including the stages you choose, to TikTok's Events API today. LeadJourney's integrations directory tags TikTok Ads as Soon, and its GHL page lists it under Coming soon. Its help center has ad-platform guides for Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Bing, X, Reddit and ChatGPT Ads, but none for TikTok. The exception is one return-path line on the GHL page that names TikTok's Events API. Ask LeadJourney whether TikTok is live for your account before you plan around it.

  3. Hashed match keys on both sides

Every HelloConversions event carries the GHL contact's email, phone, first and last name, city and state, hashed with SHA-256. LeadJourney's Meta page lists hashed email, phone and name, plus the click ID (fbc), browser ID (fbp), IP and user agent. For Google Ads, it matches on the gclid and falls back to hashed email or phone. So HelloConversions adds city and state, and LeadJourney adds browser and click IDs. Sending a field isn't the same as matching a person.

  4. Where LeadJourney is ahead

Six models, ad-level ROAS and attribution written into GHL

LeadJourney reports can credit a sale by last click, first click, linear, time decay, U-shaped or progressive, and switching never changes the recorded data. ROAS and cost per paid invoice break out by channel, campaign, ad set and creative, on collected revenue. On every agency plan, and on advertiser plans from Growth, it also writes attribution back into GHL. First touch, last touch, campaign, ad and click ID land on contacts and opportunities, with a tag per source channel. HelloConversions breaks revenue out by UTM and sets total sales beside Meta and Google spend. It documents no model choice and no write-back. An agency whose reps want each lead's source on the GHL record gets that from LeadJourney.

A fair look

LeadJourney's native GHL app, and who it fits best

LeadJourney is an EU-hosted attribution platform. Its script goes into the tracking code of each GHL funnel, then it follows every contact to the paid invoice. Its GoHighLevel page and FAQ speak to GHL agency owners.

The GHL side is native. You authorize one GHL location with no API keys, and each sub-account gets its own workspace. Triggers turn contact, opportunity, appointment and form events into conversions, with an optional stage filter. On every plan, paid invoices go to Meta's Conversions API, to Google Ads as offline imports on gclid, and to LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads. Its page says there's no GHL workflow to maintain for this.

Data is processed and stored in the EU, under a data processing agreement. Its Meta events share an event ID with the pixel, so Meta counts each conversion once. Its API Postbacks log opens the raw payload of each send and can retry every errored one in bulk. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, and no credit card is needed.

LeadJourney fits an agency or EU business that buys LinkedIn or Microsoft Ads and wants each lead's source on the GHL record. To set more tools side by side, open the comparison hub.

What happens to each bill when your ad budget grows

As of October 2026, LeadJourney's pricing page lists euros among five currencies, before VAT. Its advertiser plans follow your tracked marketing spend, measured each month from your connected ad accounts. Billed monthly, Launch is €129 for up to €5,000 of spend, and Scale is €799 for up to €100,000. Yearly billing takes 20 percent off.

Outgrow your band and nothing is charged automatically. The page says tracking keeps running and its team contacts you about a plan that fits. On advertiser plans, an add-on gives €5,000 more tracked spend for €49 a month, month to month. Agency plans start at €399 a month and follow managed spend plus leads and sales. Their own add-on adds €50,000 of spend for €199 a month.

HelloConversions prices in dollars, by the contacts in your GHL account. More ad spend or more events won't change it. The card below shows the lowest band, and every band up to 80,000 contacts has a published price. Above 100,000 contacts, the price is quoted.

No currency is converted here, and neither bill is estimated. A GHL account whose ad budget climbs while its list stays flat keeps a steady HelloConversions bill. One whose list grows fast on modest spend moves up HelloConversions bands instead.

Switching GHL events over while LeadJourney keeps reporting

  1. Connect HelloConversions beside LeadJourney's triggers

Leave LeadJourney's GHL triggers and postbacks running. Authorize HelloConversions through its GHL connection and choose your stages. Connecting takes about 90 seconds, while defining and testing events takes longer. At first, switch on only TikTok and the events LeadJourney doesn't send.

  2. Follow a fresh deal in both logs

Use a deal that starts after you connect, because HelloConversions doesn't re-send older conversions. LeadJourney's API Postbacks log shows each send's status and raw payload. The HelloConversions delivery log shows the destination, event type, parameters and response status. Matched there means the platform accepted the event, not that it credited the sale.

  3. Pause a trigger before its event changes hands

If both tools report the same purchase, Meta may count it twice, so move each event in one step. LeadJourney's guide lets you pause a trigger without deleting it. If you still want that conversion in LeadJourney's reports, ask its team how to stop only the ad postback.

  4. Keep LeadJourney only where it still leads

Once the deal matches, hand your Meta and Google Ads events to HelloConversions. LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads and the six-model reports can stay in LeadJourney if you use them. If you leave it entirely, know that disconnecting GHL there deletes every trigger, and reconnecting won't restore them.

Frequently asked questions

When will LeadJourney support TikTok Ads?

No date is published. As of October 22, 2026, its integrations directory tags TikTok Ads as Soon and its GHL page lists it under Coming soon. It has no TikTok Ads page or setup guide yet. Only one line, in the GHL page's return-path list, names TikTok's Events API. HelloConversions sends GHL conversions to TikTok's Events API now.

What happens to my LeadJourney plan if my ad spend passes its band?

Nothing is charged automatically. LeadJourney's pricing page says your tracking keeps running and its team gets in touch to move you to a plan that fits. On advertiser plans, an add-on gives €5,000 more tracked spend for €49 a month, month to month, or €39 billed yearly. Agency plans get €50,000 more for €199, or €159 yearly. HelloConversions doesn't use ad spend to set its price.

How does LeadJourney count client sub-accounts on agency plans?

Each GHL sub-account you connect gets its own connection and workspace, and agency plans count those client workspaces, not seats. Agency Starter includes 5. The agency sees every client side by side, while each client sees only its own numbers. HelloConversions also connects each sub-account separately, and you switch between their dashboards from one login. Its Growth / RevOps plan lists sub-account support.

Which contact details does LeadJourney send to Meta and Google?

For Meta, its Conversions API page lists hashed email, phone and name. It adds the fbc click ID, the fbp browser ID, IP and user agent. Google Ads conversions match on the gclid, with hashed email or phone as a fallback. HelloConversions sends the GHL contact's email, phone, first name, last name, city and state with every event, hashed with SHA-256.

Can LeadJourney put the lead source on my GHL contacts?

Yes, on every agency plan and on advertiser plans from Growth. Its CRM enrichment writes first and last touch, campaign, ad and click ID into the GHL fields you map. Those fields sit on contacts and opportunities, with a tag per source channel. Your GHL workflows can trigger on them. HelloConversions doesn't document writing attribution back into GHL.
